Declaration of Conformity Dechlorane Plus
This chemical is used as a flame retardant in plastics for electronics and in coatings for wires and cables. Both Japan and the European Union are working on risk profiles and will launch public consultation in 2020. This chemical is considered a persistent organic pollutant (POP) of which many governments are working to eliminate or provide strict restrictions with regard to use.
Dechlorane plus is identified as an SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) on the European Union REACH Authorization list.
Electronic Fasteners Incorporated certifies, to the best of its knowledge, products comply with the restrictions of Dechlorane plus.
